Located in Chiang Mai, the second largest city in Thailand. As a premier tourist destination in Thailand, Chiang Mai offers many interesting sights to see - both within the city and in the surrounding areas. In addition, the university's beautiful campus offers many benefits to students enrolled in our course, including access to the swimming pool, gym facilities and library.

Where

  • Located at Chiang Mai University main campus.
  • Approximately 10 minutes from downtown Chiang Mai.
  • 3 km from Chiang Mai International Airport.
  • 8km from Doi Suthep Temple.
  • Nestled at the foothills of Suthep Mountain, just west of Chiang Mai University.

  • Thailand's second‐largest city and the gateway to the country's north was founded in 1296. You can still see the moat that encircled the original city.
  • Doi Suthep, topped by one of Thailand's holiest temple, rises behind the city, providing a dramatic backdrop and fine views of the city.

How Much (Fees for TESOL Certification?)

  • US$500 - Deposit
  • US$1,090 - Final payment excluding accommodation (converted to Thai Baht based upon Bangkok Bank's exchange rates on date of payment)

Directions to reach the School

From Chiang Mai International Airport, you can pick a tuk-tuk or songtaew (red pickup truck with two rows of seats in the back). State the destination as: ‘Sartar Baan Pa’sar’ or ‘Lang Mor (Chiang Mai University) – Suthep Road. The destination time is usually about 10 minutes (traffic depending).

By private transportation, from the airport, take a right onto Airport Road, pass PTT petrol station and Hertz car rental (left hand side) continue about 500 meters and take a left onto Mahidol Road, continue on this road pass Airport Business Park and Toyota car dealership. Continue on this road for 2km (there will be a canal on your right hand side); take a left onto Suthep Road by Maharaj Hospital. Continue on this road for approximately 3-4km, you’ll pass Wat Suan Dok Temple, at the six set of traffic light, continue straight, then take the second right into Chiang Mai University Campus, continue on this road, and the Language Institute facility will be at the end of the road (opposite the main intersection).
