COMMUNICATE!

Internet access is provided for all trainees at ITC. Additionally, Internet is readily available in cafes in most places across Europe. Internet cafes provide an affordable and convenient alternative to bringing your own electronic equipment from home. In some cases, an internet cafe will allow you to connect using your own laptop and pay for the time used on their service.

Mobile (Cell) Phones are a necessity if you are planning to stay in Europe. Therefore we highly recommend that you purchase a mobile phone with local SIM card when you arrive. Because of the absence of reliable standard phones (primarily in Eastern Europe), even public telephone booths, your own personal mobile phone will prove essential. If you move to a different country, you can use the same phone and simply buy a new local SIM card.  Most mobile operators offer prepaid or "pay as you go" plans so you can control the expense. Recharge vouchers are available at most shops, news stands and mobile sales outlets. Phones from North America are generally not compatible with European networks (and SIM cards) unless you have a tri-band phone, check with your mobile company.
