If you don't have an existing policy which will cover you while traveling or living abroad, international coverage is available from a variety of sources. Many domestic insurers have provisions for short-term international travel, and some credit cards carry basic travel insurance. Another important factor to consider is whether or not your insurance may be accepted as partial or full payment, as many doctors, medical offices, and hospitals require the patient to pay up front in full, meaning that the patient must wait to be reimbursed by the insurance company at a later date. To obtain insurance, ITC Training suggests that students contact IMG International Medical Group. IMG offers reliable, affordable, and comprehensive insurance options. Be sure to allow ample time before your session starting date to have your request processed by IMG. IMG International Medical Group
