If you are coming by bus, the world's busiest bus terminal, serves 58 million riders a year. Approximately 36 bus lines connect Port Authority with virtually any point in the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico. It provides bus service to La Guardia Airport, John F. Kennedy, and Newark International Airports from the Airport Bus Center.

Getting there by train

New York City has two main rail stations, Grand Central Terminal and Pennsylvania Station. Grand Central is on the East Side, in midtown, and Penn Station is on the West Side, just below midtown. Both are served by numerous bus and subway lines. Amtrak, the U.S. national passenger railroad, is serving many points throughout the U.S.
